Initially when beginning my search for information on Sierra Hogge, I started on her Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/sierra.hogge). This seemed like the best way to get a start on who Sierra is. While I hoped to find more, I was short on information due to her account being mostly private. I did come to learn that she had recently worked for Astro Camp prior to moving to Utah State. I was unaware of what Astro Camp was and decided to look up their website. The “About” page stated, “Astro Camp Utah provides opportunities for students to explore, discover, and imagine. Kids experience the excitement of invention and engineering while learning to work in teams, set goals, and take pride in their accomplishments (http://astrocamputah.org/about/).” Her page mentioned that she was a “Team Leader”, Sierra has to be creative in order to succeed in that position and have exceptional people skills. Due to the lack of information and newer dates, I believe she has drifted away from Facebook. I imagine she is trying to focus more on the present and what she is doing with her life now. While attending Ben Lomond High School in North Logan, she participated in FCCLA, cheerleading, and student government. Sierra also is a member of the LDS church and graduated seminary while in high school. Sierra graduated high school in 2016 and is now in her Sophomore Year at Utah State University. As I continued to use her name on Google searches, the information lacked. I was excited when her Linkedin page (https://www.linkedin.com/in/sierra-hogge-951758114/)  pulled up. I learned that since July, Sierra has been working at American Eagle Outfitters as a sales associate. I was surprised to see that this position was located in Farmington, this means that she is either commuting to work or commuting to school. I came to conclusion that she is likely commuting to university. At Utah State, Sierra is studying Interior Design and is passionate about art. Sierra knew she had this interest since high school when she competed in FCCLA and received gold in interior design at a competition (https://www.facebook.com/BenLomondHighSchool/posts/786953164691315). It seems as though Sierra’s artistic ability shapes just about everything around her. From her school, her current job, and her previous job as a dance teacher, it is easy to see that her artistic ability stands tall in everything she does. Another form of art that Sierra enjoys is music, her Facebook showcased two photos of the boy band One Direction, a band that has now broken up. Seeing her post that on her personal profile tells me that music is important to her and she wants to showcase it on her feed.

    Its interesting to see that not much could be found on me as you said. I never realized that my twitter and Instagram are not connected to my real name. I also feel bad that this made this assignment more difficult for you. I will work on my online reputation.

    It is interesting to hear about someone who did not have much information online about them. This could be both a strength or a weakness depending on what you want, and it is good that this was brought to attention! I think you did a good job reporting the information that you did find. I liked the pictures that you included as well. Great post!

Technology Assignment

When trying to think of a technology that will change professional communication in the future, the first program I thought of was "DOMO".  DOMO is not necessarily the newest technology, however, it is extremely underutilized. I worked with a company that used DOMO and I realized in that job, this could change businesses.  In my own words, DOMO is the social media of a business.
